Twenty-Five

Just another yearly wrap up on how my year has gone. 25 definitely ended the same way it started, amazing. This pandemic has been a rollercoaster and with the added stress of the election, I think I’ll pass on reliving this year. Some really great things happened that I can’t forget. I started off the year by traveling to Italy and Spain before the pandemic began. I finished school and finally received my BFA in Advertising. I received the news earlier this year that I’m going to be an uncle (only a couple of weeks away). I worked my damn ass off and submitted numerous applications and cover letters while polishing my portfolio and resume. After 7 months of searching for work, I finally landed myself a job in advertising that starts next week. I get to work remotely for a while then move to Boston when things open back up. I’m truly lucky to have had many wonderful experiences amongst 2020’s shit storm of a year. Things definitely started looking up! Last but not least, I’ve learned to love myself so much more than I ever have. I’ve become the person I’ve always needed... talk about GROWTH. 2020 was the year I learned to become the main character of my life. And for next year’s Ricky reading this and looking back on 26 I hope you didn’t change this perspective on life but grew into your newfound life. Amazing things will happen when they’re supposed to happen and if you’ll allow them the chance to happen. You deserve only the best in life and love.
